Mother’s Day Out is hiring:
We are looking for a few individuals who have a willingness to share God’s love with children. These individuals should portray a person who is energetic and willing and ready to work with others. Please bring all resumes to the church office. Contact Amber @337.368.8825 with any questions.
Ladies-
Join us at 6pm in the Young Couple’s Classroom (across from refuge) on Wednesday evenings. There will be a devotional time, prayer and conversation.
There are activities for children/youth as well.

We love our teachers and appreciate all that they do to make our Preschool/MDO programs a success. Join us on May 16th as we thank our teachers and staff. They will be recognized during the service at 9am.

Please note we will be back to ONE worship service beginning the Sunday after Easter. Worship will begin at 9AM and Sunday School will follow at 10:15AM.
Annie was born in Baltimore at a time when there was little opportunity for women. Yet, her devotion to Christ led her to a life of service and leadership. She organized women to pray, to give and to meet the needs around them. She challenged pastors and churches to action and rallied vital support for missionaries. Ultimately, Annie was recognized as a national Southern Baptist trailblazer for her visionary leadership that still inspires millions today.
The offering was started in 1895 by Woman’s Missionary Union® (WMU) to benefit the work of the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board). In 1934, it was named in honor of Annie Armstrong, a bold missions advocate and WMU’s first national executive leader. Today, more than $1 billion has been donated by Southern Baptist churches and individuals
The 2021 theme is “The Mission Moves Forward”.
The scripture verse is 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
The national goal is $70 million.

St. Francisville Plantation Tour
Friday:
•We plan to leave the church at 5pm
•Dinner reservations at 7:45pm at the restaurant 1796. Yum!
•We will step back in time a bit and stay the night in the heart of downtown St. Francisville at 3-V Tourist Court.
•Breakfast at your convenience next door at Bird Man Coffee and Books 7:30-9am, leave at 9:45am to meet others at the Myrtles Plantation.
SATURDAY:
•Meet and leave church at 8:15am
•Meet at Myrtles plantation for 10am tour
•11:15am lunch
Please let us know your lunch order by Thursday morning 4/8/21 as we will pre-order lunch. Text your lunch order to 337-658-3396.
After lunch; shop on your own (we’ll be on Main Street for lunch) or head to Rosedown to enjoy the grounds prior to tour.
•1:45pm – head to Rosedown for our 2pm tour.
•Last tour – 3PM – Oakley Plantation
