Until further notice, all church events are cancelled due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus.  For more details regarding our churches actions, and what you can do, please visit our COVID-19 Update Page.

All events are cancelled including:

  • Main Worship Services on Sundays
  • Wednesday Prayer Meetings
  • All Sunday School Classes
  • All Connect Groups
  • Children’s Programs (RA’s, GA’s, Kids in Actions, Mission Friends, Kidz Konnection)
  • Youth Programs (Wednesday Nights, Monday Night Bible Study)

Pray and Give

Our work as First Baptist Jennings is alive and well. While the coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic is affecting our lives, the Lord is using this threatening force to open doors for us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others through creative ways. While communities, cities and even countries are slowing to a standstill, the Lord still reigns in all of His power and glory. Continue to PRAY.

We Praise the Lord for the church’s giving pattern over the last several months. As we find ourselves practicing being the “CHURCH” in new creative ways without assembling as the large congregation, here is how you can continue to exercise your giving.
1. You can give electronically by:

Fill in the appropriate fields of information. If you choose direct payment from your bank account, the Bank will verify & email you instructions to confirm it is you. The Bank will send a code to your cell phone.

4. Drop By: The church will be open Monday thru Friday
and if you are running errands and want to drop off
your giving / tithe, stop by.

First Baptist Jennings would like to offer a free devotional resource to our members and the local Jennings community. This great tool is called DevoHub. (instructions below)

There are 7 amazing monthly devotional magazines now available through this app. “Journey” written for women, “Stand Firm” written for men, “Open Windows” written to help you read the bible through in one year, “Renew Daily” daily devotionals, “Quietud” devotionals written in Spanish, “Essential Connections” written for teenagers and “Family Journey” for families.

How to get this free devotional resource.

  • Step 1 – Come to our church property and just park in the parking lot. Make sure your “location” service is turned on.
  • Step 2 – Go to your app store, Apple Store, Google Play and or Amazon Apps, search for Devo Hub.
  • Step 3 – Download free app.
  • Step 4 – Click activate

The result is a free devotional that you can now take with you anywhere you go. You can have an encouraging word from God with you at all times.
